Spicerhaart has officially launched Chainfree, a portal offering free listings to itself and other agents.

The site, which was soft-launched in the last few months of 2009, features more than 5,500 properties from over 850 estate agency branches.

Estate agents working with Spicerhaart Corporate Sales can list their property on the website free, using password-protected access.

The site complements Spicerhaart’s existing online service, the auction site Mustbesold.com

Mark Pilling, managing director of Spicerhaart Corporate Sales, which manages repossessions, part-exchanges and relocation schemes, said: “The launch of Chainfree.com is a lifeline for estate agents, allowing them easy access to a range of serious, motivated buyers looking to make a fast purchase to add to their investment portfolio.

“Since the soft launch, we have already had as many as 33,000 pages visited in one day, and this is set to increase rapidly now that the site is officially launched to the public.

“With free listings, estate agents would be short-sighted not to take the opportunity to market their properties on the site.”

just seesm like another ploy for spicer or any of thire other companies to gain access to other agents property to try and "poach" for them selves using an advert that they will probably be tod after the event by ASA not to use again.

Not sure how you gave Insider enough rope to hang himself MR. I think he actually made you look like a tw*t. Anyway, if anyone in this thread works for spicerhaart, it seems likely that it's you. But whatever.

MR, thankfully, I have never had to degrade myself by working for Spicerhaart so your suggestion that I am a disgruntled ex-employee is somewhat wide of the mark. I just don't like Spicerhaart. I don't think that is a controversial point of view. And as for positivity, the most positive thing I can suggest is that Spicers change their leadership. It will be better for clients and staff in the long term. And as for your astute observation that I have time on my hands (by the fact that I comment here about once a month), may I politely point out that I have a lot of good staff and excellent delegation skills. And if you don't find anything negative in a fact-free, planted PR piece from ChavsRus, then I suggest you are a few deals short of a pipeline. Toodlepip.

Hi property insider and Willy Wonker. Just a shot in the dark but I am guessing you are both disgruntled ex employees with a little time on your hands. You seem to have negative thoughts about every article that appears on here but not sure why you continue with it. Come on, try and be positive !! New year resolution for you both. thanking you in anticipation of your actions.

I can't think of anything suitably pithy or witty to say about Spicerhaart so perhaps I will simply recount my personal experience is that from top to bottom, that business is staffed by utter cretins (in my *personal* opinion). I remember a story recounted to me my someone who would know about a certain Mr Smith, who at a business dinner, proceeded to get so completely wasted that he literally fell asleep, face down in a plate of curry. It's amazing what jobs you can get if you have a rich daddy and someone else's money.

What is this "can list" rubbish. If I don't waste my time loading their instructions onto this site, my membership will be withdrawn. I hate working for crap fees as it is, just to have another swathe of red tape to deal with for no return.

We have had one property on this 'Chainfree' site for over a month & not one enquiry. All the other sites are generating at lease 3-5 a week. Why do they waste money on such rubbish, oh well I guess some IT guys got some good fee's out of this one.
