Nineteen awards were presented to staff of Badger Holdings, parent company to Townends and Regents estate agents who operate in and around Greater London, at the organisation’s annual awards night.

Badger Holdings management said that despite a challenging year, there was still plenty to celebrate and they wanted to thank the staff for their commitment and to let them know they were valued.

Top Branch Sales 2008 was won by Regents in Hounslow and Top Branch Lettings 2008 was won by Townends in Earlsfield.

Individual plaques were given out to the company’s top performers, and Leigh Thomas of Townends in Mitcham won the Ambassadors Award for his services to the company.

Managing director Séamus Kavanagh said: “Leigh only comes on our radar as a result of positives. He is always first to volunteer whether it’s for charity events or work. We always receive glowing feedback from his clients who have described him as polite, friendly and professional. He is a great team player and a real positive influence.”

Chief executive Tony Addinall made it clear that, although he felt there were still tough times ahead, he wanted the staff to know that he was 100% behind them and would do whatever he could to help them make the most of all business opportunities.

I totally agree, terrible company to work for, in every way.

I worked for Townends some time ago, I know Foxtons are bad but Townends really do not have any respect for their employees! One of THE most unfair companies I have ever worked for and I believe this would be echoed by my colleagues!
