Two lettings offices that were part of Humberts have been sold to another agent.

Humberts went into administration last month, on the same day that most of its businesses were sold to the Mercantile Group for £3.16 million.
The firm ran into trouble after expanding rapidly to some 80 offices by making strings of acquisitions on which it still owed debts. Some of its previous owners have now bought back their businesses.
But while Mercantile, who also own half of Chesterton, have most of the old Humberts business, ten offices in north Somerset remained in administration. Two of these, in Weston and Clevedon, have now been bought by Peter Ellis.

He is to change their name to Accommodation Unlimited, but will keep the staff. Ellis said: "We don't like the name Humberts. It's not a brand we want to be associated with."
Humberts made a £17 million loss in its last financial year, and its shares were suspended in April.
