House prices have dropped by 15% so far this year, according to data from haart.

Russell Jervis, managing director of haart, made the revelation after Halifax’s latest survey showed prices that prices fell 2% in June.

All the established surveys have consistently shown price falls as less than agents ‘on the ground’ have been reporting.

Meanwhile, the latest data from the Land Registry shows that there were 53,080 housing transactions in March, almost exactly half of the number in March2007, when there were 106,047.
