Following our story on Friday, Globrix has asked us to clarify that they are not charging for traffic, other than where agents want guaranteed levels.

A spokeswoman said: “Do any search on Globrix and you will see that you can still click through to the agent’s site. Agents are still getting free traffic to their own sites from us.

“What we are selling now is a traffic guarantee – that is, we will guarantee agent x that we will send them y number of clicks per month.

“We have numerous ways of generating this guaranteed traffic for the agents that choose to pay for it. Agents who don’t pay still get traffic from us, but at no guaranteed minimum level.”

    Simply put, no.
Propertylive.co.uk is a free to list portal, and only being available to professionally regulated agents, there really is no excuse for professional estate agents to not stand out from non regulated agents and get on board as Propertylive moves onwards and upwards.

    Is everyone Stupid!!??

All Globrix are doing is signing the agents location up on GOOGLE AdWords, then directing the clicks through to that area on Globrix - hence the Guaranteed Traffic.

The Globrix is really paying for AdWords cloaked as Globrix plus a 100% margin add on for Globrix.

The TRUTH therefore, is paying agents are paying to send more traffic to Globrix's site so that they can claim more traffic and charge paying agents even more.

Peer pressure will mean all agents eventually will have to pay - just like rightmove.

If you ALL can't see this is their strategy then you must be.......

They say, "...There's nout so blind than those who cannot see..."

Shouldn't Globrix have the right to earn a living then? Mouseprice is hardly going to generate results in the manner Globrix could.

As I understand it they are compromising the impartiality of their search function to favour the paying agent. With Thinkproperty now gone, is Mouseprice.com the only truly free portal left?
