An estate agent has given parents’ accommodation at a children’s hospice a £20,000 make-over.

The Venmore Group, in Liverpool, led the ‘Home from Home’ project for families of seriously ill children at Zoe’s Place. The flat provides room for families to stay while their child is in the hospice.

Carol Kirkham, fundraising manager for Zoe’s Place, said: “The Venmore Group embarked on this major refurbishment of our parent flat and have gone above and beyond what we could ever have imagined they could do. We cannot thank them enough.”

Maria Barrigan, Venmore’s business development director, said the whole project had been inspirational, turning very basic accommodation into attractive bedrooms with modern amenities.
