The Estate Agency Foundation has been presented with an award by homeless charity Broadway.

The award recognises the Zoopla British Cycle ride of last summer, led by agents Jon Cooke, Sean Newman and Martin Farrington.

Altogether, more than 100 cyclists took part in 32 separate legs to travel a total of almost 2,500 miles. It raised in excess of £70,000 for the Estate Agency Foundation, with the money split between three homelessness charities, including Broadway. Shelter, another of the recipients, is no longer on the Foundation's list of good causes after its high-profile campaigning against letting agents.

Jane Webber, from the Estate Agency Foundation, said: “The Estate Agency Foundation raises money for homelessness charities because our work has a strong affiliation to what they do.

“We were happy to support Broadway, because what the charity does is extraordinary. It is humbling to see what they do for their clients.”
