There was a big increase of residential lots at auction last month, Essential Information Group has reported.
There were 3,075 lots offered, up on the 2,428 in October last year.
Of these, 2,362 sold, against 1,708 last October.
The success rate was 76.8%, up on last year’s 70.3%.
EIG managing director David Sandeman called it an “emphatic turnaround”.
