Staff at an estate agent’s were subject to a terrifying ordeal when three man burst into their office wearing balaclavas and brandishing a wheel wrench, machete and knife.
The incident happened last Friday morning at Brookendale Sales and Lettings in Atherton, Lancs, and was captured on CCTV.
The staff were told to lie on the floor and do as they were told. The men demanded money and access to the safe. However, the safe was empty and the trio left with staff handbags and a wallet.
No arrests have yet been made.
The office remained closed for the rest of Friday and for the whole of the following day.
