Formerly of Knight Frank and Druce, Murphy has almost two decades of experience in the prime residential market.

Jamie Hope, managing director of Sales at Maskells, said: “Mitchell has stood out to me for some time as being a superstar of the market and someone who will do extremely well at Maskells.

“Despite market headwinds, we continue to increase our market share and have achieved growth in transaction volumes and revenue each year over the last decade.

“We opened our Kensington and Notting Hill office in 2021, which is doing brilliantly. We will continue to attract top talent allowing for the continuing expansion of our office network, ensuring the highest standards of care are given to our clients and we are able to offer them the high-performance service for which we are known.

“Through building a dedicated Marylebone & West End team, Maskells offers our clients full Prime Central London coverage as well as an extremely effective route to the global market. We have absolute faith that Mitchell's outstanding personality and professional competence makes him the ideal choice to bring the Maskells brand to Marylebone.”

Murphy added: “I am delighted to be joining such a prestigious Estate Agency. We share the same commitment to client satisfaction; my skillset combined with the growing Maskells brand is a winning combination.

“Marylebone and the West End hold a special place in my professional and social past, providing me with an intimate knowledge of these areas. Having spent many years working and socialising here, I am well-acquainted with the unique charm that makes this part of London an attractive choice for those seeking a new home. My role is to assist our clients in navigating the real estate landscape, ensuring they achieve the very best result. 2024 is going to be a fantastic year for me, Marylebone and Maskells.”
