It’ll be interesting to see how the market reacts to the news this morning. https://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/CWD/13740645.html

Dear Alison Platt...... that’s how to deliver a statement to the markets! With supportive comments and a clearly defined strategy. Perhaps you could could give that some thought for the next update.........oh hang on! On second thoughts - UNLUCKY. NO IDEA HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS!

We launched a pimped up version of currently suspended HIP pack in August - no upfront cost and no more expensive than the tradition route with all the normal kick backs. Working phenomally well....... to the point that we’ve had to limit it as we a bar if all the costs! Average reduction in delays of 8/9 weeks substantially improving the EA cash flow and reducing issues! We passed ALL of our existing and rolling data over to the gov....... not sure they will do anything though? It does need legislating to make it perfect!!

The rental market is seeing the big stick in the form of the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) and now we are going to see the sales market encouraged to improve ratings........ 8 years ago I wrote a lengthy article and spoke at length re this and a properties EPC rating being directly linked to council tax! It coming! Make sure that you have an up to date EPC irrespective of selling or letting! If your an active (pro-active) Estate or Letting agent you shouldn’t see this as a negative impact...... in fact completely the opposite! We can show and evidence how this can 1) Be turned in to a solid revenue stream and 2) Make you stand head and shoulders above your competitors.

The EAT news articles are ticking all the boxes this morning...... so much so I not sure which to comment on first ;-) I've previously intimated that our product that we will be launching in the market (anticipated July 17) will hopefull write all the worlds wrongs...... we'll perhaps that's a little ambitious! But from industry engagement and feedback what we are planning to deliver will shave a MINIMUM of 3 weeks off the sales process as all of the searches, property information questionnaire (PIQ) and several hours of conveyance will be completed at the point of marketing! And all at NO upfront cost or more expensive than the traditional methods! Coincidently we would also control the PIQ and laborious paperwork process as we would speaking with sellers to arrange the surveys on their premises and collecting paperwork at the same time. I understand the the politicians and conveyances are constantly berating the word HIP and the potential of bringing this back by stating that NO Estate Agents want to see them back in......... couldn't be further from the truth and if this is your opinion then honestly you live under a rock which is conveniently located Ina bubble! That said we are not planning on re-introducing the HIP just a highly evolved and polished legal pack to, as suggested, bring the process in to today's world! If you would like any additional information please find me on Linked in Gareth Clarke

HOME INFORMATION PACK V.2 Since the beginning of 2017 we have been working tirelessly behind the scenes with the intention of bringing back a rejuvenated version of the suspended HIP's.......... and now they've gone and stolen my thunder ;-) For any that may query why it's taking so long the simple answer to that is that we will be offering our product with NO UPFRONT COST. We have a few minor legal i's to dot and t's to cross but we are currently proposing a trial date of 1 June 2017. Please can I ask any individuals or companies that may be interested to contact me and share this. Hopefully we will be able to evidence the worth in this product before it becomes legislated and the 'Big Boys' try and pull it apart.

Since late 2016 we have been developing a product to do exactly what you eluding to, although with a few more bells and whilstls! Biggest barrier that we encountered was the cost....... so we've got rid of it and will be offering it at no upfront cost! We have managed to secure engagement for every single EA in an area of Derbyshire to trial the product! We'll try and keep you posted regarding the outcome! Kind regards Gareth Clarke
