So tell us something we didn’t know. Lockdown will be in place until late spring at the earliest and we will all be wearing masks and social distancing for at least a couple of years, possibly longer.

Great idea. Working from home, or Living At Work which is a more accurate description, with all of the mental health issues that WFH is creating but is not really being discussed at the moment; trying to work with mostly unreliable and fragile IT with dodgy broadband reception etc (let’s be honest folks, IT is OK and has its place but it really is pretty useless a lot of the time isn’t it? .... then throw into the mix the fact that some of the “agents” will be complete novices. What could possibly go wrong?

Interesting that the on-line/listing/hybrid agencies are active predominantly in the first time/smaller end of the markets. This is where I bag most of my purchases where “proper” estate agents are less likely to be found!

Totally agree with you Paul. No deal is the only way forward. Not sure I can agree with you though about the German cars (I drive a Mercedes and love it to bits!) and drink gallons of French red wine every week since lockdown!

I think all I would add to this conversation is the danger of another total lockdown, which the media are having *rgasms about! If the government impose similar to what we had in the spring, that will be the end of days for the economy of this country. Whilst the Welsh are being told it will be 16 days, it’s pretty obvious that will become months and besides, lockdowns don’t work. There will be massive redundancies (the gov’t job protection scheme barely papers over the cracks), people will therefore struggle to pay their mortgages and the banks will steam in and take people’s homes away from them. This will lead to mass civil disobedience and real riots on the streets. Sorry to appear to be a doom monger but that’s how I see it.
