I'd like to see OTM succeed and create some competition which might lead to reigning Rightmove's fee increases. Listings are half the battle for OTM but so far I don't even see a tenth of the leads we receive through Rightmove and Zoopla. Outside of the industry I don't think many people are aware of the portal, now they need to work on user numbers.

PB has over 42,000 reviews on trustpilot and all genuine; yeah right. To put that in perspective Foxton's have 3600.

Boards definitely work in my area of London, not just for getting enquiries for sale or letting but also shows presence in an area which leads to instructions. It's not our key business generation tool but it does bring in the business. On the other hand I believe they are an eyesore in cities and a blanket ban is a fair way of talking the problem.

What did EAT do for content before OTM came along? It seems the majority of articles concern OTM/Zoopla/Rightmove sooo tedious. Maybe there is a real story here about the Prime property market in the south-west, how local agents are doing, why this property remains unsold? But that would require a little work and it's so much easier to print the articles the PR's hand out. yawn.

Spot on Steve. I had a similar visit from the rep. They wanted me to sign a letter of intent yet seemed keen to acknowledge that OTM isn't doing very well against Zoopla in my area. I can only assume the reps are salaried and not on commission.
