New owner named for Surrey branch of Martin & Co

Property and finance professional Alan Lai has been confirmed as the new owner of Martin & Co’s branches in Caterham and Redhill & Reigate.

A portfolio landlord who lives in Reigate, Alan acquired the branches from former owners Marc Hansen, Nick Guy and Lucie Allan in a resale deal last month.

As part of the deal, Alan has retained highly experienced teams in both Surrey offices, including Lucie, who is staying on as business development director.

Marc, meanwhile, has retired, while Nick is pursuing other business interests.

Alan, whose previous experience spans almost 20 years in financial services and property development sales management, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be part of Martin & Co and The Property Franchise Group.

“My vision for the offices revolves around providing incredible value for our clients, and ensuring that the businesses are run with complete integrity and transparency.

“The Caterham and Redhill teams are vastly experienced and have built a superb reputation for excellence in those areas.
