Bug houses, also known as insect hotels, serve as havens for beneficial insects, playing a vital role in promoting biodiversity and ecological balance.
The bug house, strategically placed in Cheyne Walk, Chelsea, is designed to attract a diverse range of beneficial insects, including pollinators like solitary bees, ladybugs, lacewings, and beetles.

DM & Co: DM & Co. Homes has welcomed Midlands Air Ambulance on board as Solihull Summer Fest 2024’s charity of the year
The Solihull-based estate agent and official event partner for Solihull Summer Fest 2024 has welcomed the choice of charity for the popular event which takes place this year from 18-21 July.
Dominic Murphy, managing director of DM & Co. Homes, said: “I am delighted that Solihull Fest 2024 has chosen Midlands Air Ambulance as its charity of the year.
“Midlands Air Ambulance relies entirely on donations, and we are all aware of the vital difference this service can mean in life or death situations.”
The four day event at Tudor Grange Park in Solihull will be supporting the charity’s pre-hospital emergency service, helping to raise funds that will help save lives across the region.
Dominic added: “From its base at RAF Cosford, Midlands Air Ambulance ranges far and wide, carrying out vital life-saving missions on a daily basis.”
Conveyancing Foundation: The Conveyancing Foundation has reopened applications for its Charity Grant Scheme.
Having successfully launched last year, the scheme attracted numerous applications each quarter, leading to four deserving fundraisers receiving grants of up to £2,000 each for their respective charities.
In its ongoing dedication to mental health and wellbeing, the Foundation has extended the Grant Scheme to facilitate mental health first aider training for members of staff in legal practices.
Jill White, from Smoove, is the most recent Foundation Charity Grant recipient, having been awarded a Grant of £2,000 in December 2023. Jill's impressive charity fundraising challenge involved running 50 miles throughout the month for the Motor Neuron Disease Association—double the initial challenge of 25 miles. In total, Jill raised over £3000 for the charity, a cause close to her heart after losing her mother to Motor Neuron Disease 23 years ago.
Other 2023 charity grant recipients include Jessie Bishop, who ran the London Marathon for Mind, Aconveyancing for their 'It's a Knockout' event in aid of 'Samuel's Promise,' and Women in Residential Property, who raised funds for Ella’s charity.
The Charity Grant Scheme is open to anyone in the Conveyancing industry currently undertaking a fundraising event for their chosen charity, with Grants paid directly to the registered charity.
