Self-employed agency network nears 100 partners

The Agency UK’s (TAUK) nationwide team of self-employed estate agents has now reached 89 partners operating across 32 countries, with the British brokerage planning further expansion in the next quarter.

It comes as property duo, Coralie Walrond and Tom Jackson have joined The Agency UK to launch Worcestershire focusing on Kidderminster and Droitwich.

Coralie comes from a career with revered agency brands such as Nicol & Co Estate Agents and Nock Deighton. Tom also hails from Nicols and more recently Taylors Estate Agents and RA Bennett & Partners.

Tom Lawrence of TLC Properties in Harrogate has decided to streamline the operational costs of his own independent estate agency and benefit from The Agency UK Network by becoming a partner. He also used to be a Ewemove franchisee.

Ria Font, who has been an agent in Liverpool since 2010, has recently been running her own lettings only operation. She has joined The Agency UK as a partner to add sales to her business in a cost-effective way.

Joseph Grundy, Jamie Dryburgh and David Grubb are three area directors who have joined from Purplebricks to launch Telford, Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury. “

The Agency UK also continues to invest in their central support functions and is growing its business development team, booking more than 100 valuations per month for their self-employed partners.

It is also adding to the team of sales negotiators and has employed a social media executive and content creator to help the partners develop their social media channels.

Steph Walker, chief operating officer of The Agency UK, said: “More and more agents are seeing the benefit of working under a model such as The Agency UK, most recently with agents in North Liverpool and Rotherham joining our team from conventional high street estate agents in order to provide a personal service to their clients from start to finish.

“As we expand our operations the UK and across 31 other countries, we’re keen to speak to any experienced estate agents who are either looking to start their own business but benefit from a partnership, or those running their own outfit, but considering ways to streamline their costs and benefit from the network, database and tech that we provide our partners with.”
