South West estate agency network the Experts in Property has announced a change of chairmanship and appointed new directors to its board.
Cornwall-based Steve Moir has stepped down from the chairman post and has been succeeded by Bristol agent Andrew Simmonds.
Moir was chairman of the network from 2001 until 2006 and again since 2009 but will now retire.
Simmonds said: “I’m excited to have been elected to take the role as chairman of the Experts in Property. It’s a great organisation and Steve has done a fantastic job.
“We’re all very sad to see him leave and wish him all the best for his retirement. Looking forward, we will of course be reviewing the range of benefits for members and looking to expand them even further, making membership to the network an even more compelling proposition for independent agents across the region and beyond.”
Honiton estate agent of more than 30 years, Roger Hemming has also joined Okehampton-based James Stevens and the long-standing Andy Pounsberry on the board of directors.
