The chief executive of Belvoir says his agency has had 25 years of significant financial and business success - and much of that is down to the fact that it was a pioneer of what is now the self-employed model.
"The self employed model seems to be quite popular now and why I smile when I hear that is -well, that’s been our model for the past 20-odd years” says Dorian Gonsalves.
"When I first joined [Belvoir] the franchise people were working from home…and after a number of years we encouraged people to move into shops because we wanted to see them with bigger businesses.”
Gonsalves makes the claim in an exclusive video interview with Angels Media’s chief executive Nat Daniels.
In it Gonsalves also reveals what he believes to be the secret behind his company’s strong success rate for over two decades, culminating in a spectacular year in 2021 - when acquisitions as well as organic growth contributed to Belvoir being one of the most financially successful agencies in the industry.
