Agents Do Charity - the getting-close-to-Valentine’s-Day edition

Hello and if it’s Friday, it’s definitely the day for Agents Do Charity.

We’re leading up to Valentine’s - a neat opportunity to remind ourselves just how our industry loves to raise money for good causes. Thanks to those who have sent in material for today’s round-up - but we’re always after more! Just email details to press@estateagenttoday.co.uk and we’ll do the rest.

Hertfordshire Mind Network: Keith Ian Estate Agents and Hertfordshire Mind Network have begun a fundraising and awareness partnership. The association began after staff at the agency’s three offices noticed how many of their family, friends and neighbours felt lonely or upset during the long pandemic.

“We began to look for ways in which we could help. It didn’t take long before we were introduced to Hertfordshire Mind Network and the impressive work they are doing in our communities” comments managing director Ian Robertson.

“This is a very special and exciting partnership for us. Hertfordshire Mind Network is a charity that works tirelessly to ensure as many people as possible receive support for any mental health struggles they may have. They are an independent charity, affiliated to national Mind, which welcomes as much awareness and funds as possible. All of us at Keith Ian are immensely proud to partner with Hertfordshire Mind Network. We are looking forward to helping to raise vital funds to support Hertfordshire Mind Network and our local communities”.

Ian goes on: “The last two years have been full of upheaval and fear, but on the positive side we have also seen the good in our world. True acts of kindness, communities coming together and appreciation for the beauty surrounding us that we would have otherwise ignored.”

All staff at Keith Ian have taken part in training around mental health awareness and support, delivered by Hertfordshire Mind Network. All commented on how valuable they found the training.

Agents Giving: Get your glad rags to the ready as the date and venue have been booked and tickets are now available for the annual industry Charity Ball organised by Agents Giving.
