Muuvo unveils new upfront information data for agents

Agency proptech supplier Muuvo has made new data available to help agents comply with impending Trading Standards upfront information requirements.

The National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency Team is working on Parts B and C of its material information rules for property listings and has indicated it may include broadband and mobile speeds.

Muuvo, which provides software for agents to help buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants with a utility switching service, has made that information available on its platform.

It can tell agents, homemovers and tenants whether a property has a fibre connection, a super-fast fibre connection and also the average speeds expected.

Users can also see whether the property can be served by Virgin Media or other providers.

Some of the additional data available includes which fibre broadband services are available from different providers and if there is a single cabinet serving the property for a telephone-lined based service.

Agents can sign up with Muuvo – free – and by entering the address of a property they can access this information to use on listings.

Jamie Parks, director Muuvo, said: “The information we can provide assists agents with their legislative requirements under Consumer Protection Regulations and also helps them provide leading edge information that is much sought after by buyers and tenants alike.

“Alongside the provision of important and timely information, there is a revenue generating opportunity for agents when buyers and tenants chiose, through the customer facing Muuvo portal to take specific products from suppliers.”
