Agency backed AML platform gains B Corp status

Agency-backed risk management platform Thirdfort has received awarded B Corporation status.

The certification recognises Thirdfort’s commiutment to goals outside of shareholder profit such as social, corporate and environmental standards.

The B Corp certification assesses a business’ operations and covers five key impact areas of governance, workers, community, environment and customers..
 
Thirdfort scored highest in the workers section, which measures how a company treats its staff through compensation, benefits, training and development opportunities.

It also focuses on the overall work environment within the company by assessing communication between management and employees, job flexibility, corporate culture and worker health and safety practices.

Applicants are required to reach a benchmark score of more than 80 while providing evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to energy supplies, waste and water use, pay, diversity and corporate transparency.

To complete the certification, Thirdfort will legally embed its commitment to purpose beyond profit in its company articles.
 

Thirdfort’s B Corp status comes as it is also committing to reach net zero carbon emissions. 

Working with carbon accounting software company Supercritical, Thirdfort has now removed its carbon emissions from 2021 and the first half of 2022.

Thirdfort closed strategic investment rounds over the summer with major estate agents Savills, Chestertons and Knight Frank as well as credit intelligence company Pepper Advantage.
