One of the UK’s oldest estate agency firms has expanded into two new territories.
Nock Deighton was established in Shropshire in 1831 and today has offices in Ludlow, Newport, Telford, and Ironbridge; additionally, its head office is in Bridgnorth and it has a Worcestershire branch in the Wyre Forest.
The company has now announced two new locations - Stourbridge and Shrewsbury.
Chairman Michael Nettleton says: “We have seen excellent opportunity for growth as a business with a strong focus on refining our model, this has led to us embracing opportunities to expand in to Shrewsbury and Stourbridge.
“We have an established name in and around Shrewsbury so it is a natural progression, however Stourbridge is a totally new territory for us, despite that we are confident that our unique approach will fit well in the local market and we are excited to see that we have already made excellent progress.”
And sales director Ross D’Aniello states: “We’ve worked hard in recent years to separate ourselves from the pack, demonstrating the offer we bring as a full service agency. Our sales teams, complemented by our excellent progression department, have achieved amazing results with 54.5 per cent of sales achieving on or over the asking price and a fall through rate at less than a quarter of the national average so far in 2021.”
Michael Nettleton adds: “We have a fantastic culture at Nock Deighton and one which is strongly reflected in the service that we provide to our clients. Every inch the family firm we work hard to ensure that everyone who wishes to have a successful career in the company is able to do so.
“We have a strong sales and lettings team, a well-respected property management department and a successful land and new homes department and we are looking forward to replicating our success in these new territories.”
