Horsforth and Pudsey Football Teams/Pudsey Community Project: Leeds-based estate agent, HOP, which has offices in Horsforth and Pudsey, is supporting communities in both towns through a new charity partnership and the sponsorship of four children’s football teams. In addition, HOP’s Pudsey branch has formed a new partnership with Pudsey Community Project and become a drop off point for donations to the charity, which was founded by Pudsey Parish Church to provide community, youth, children and poverty resources.

Rich Hare, who leads HOP’s sales team in Horsforth, says: “As a successful local business, we’re extremely proud to play a role in the communities that we operate within. Pudsey Community Project has been a valuable lifeline for many people through the pandemic.

“Most of those working for the project are volunteers, meaning they are unable to open their facilities every day of the week, so offering our office as a safe place for those who wish to donate is the least we can do.”

Ty Hafan: Newport agency Nuttall Parker has linked with local charity Ty Hafan in a campaign called Homes For Families.

Nuttall Parker is donating £50 of every sales fee for every home they sell over the next 12 months, as well as staging a Christmas jumper day and a branch to branch charity walk.

Manager Lesley Woodsford-Lloyd says: "The team are proud to be partnered with Ty Hafan and helping the local community. Ty Hafan provides care and a home for many life-limited children and their families across Wales and it was important to work with a charity focussing on homes, we look forward to supporting this cause long term and giving back to a special cause."

For Life’s Great Causes: Estate agency Ashtons has created a calendar with all proceeds going to this great charity.

The agency tells EAT: “The calendar reflects time in lockdown, capturing moments when time stood still, and discovering the beautiful surroundings of Hertfordshire. All photography was captured by members of the Ashtons team and features some of the region’s most loved quiet spots and countryside, truly showcasing the splendour of the county we all call home. There are seasonal images on each page of the A4 calendar, together with spacious date grids offering plenty of room to organise your important dates.”

In 2022 the agency wants to raise £10,000 for the For Life’s Great Causes charity campaign. The calendar costs £8 and can be ordered here.

Lewis Manning Hospice: South of England agency LeaderFox is sponsoring Lewis Mannings Christmas tree collection this year and will be donating £20 for every Elf board put up.

And the agency tells us: “Why Elf? We thought it would be fun for the kids (and adults) rather than our boring generic agency boards and after all who doesn’t love Buddy from Elf?”

The agency is also a drop off point for Amelias Rainbow toy appeal. These toys are given to poorly children with life threatening illnesses.
