Other senior figures contributing to the conference will be Mike Day, chief executive of Integra Property Services and one of the industry’s leading experts one compliance; Iain MacKenzie, chief executive of the Guild of Property Professionals, and Beth Rudolf, chair of the Home Buying and Selling sub-group.

Bold Legal LIVE! takes place on Friday October 18 at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane.

The conference is the brainchild of well-known conveyancer Rob Hailstone who says that after 40 years in the business, with the home buying process having become more complex and not less, change really is coming this time.

The government is about to conduct detailed research into the introduction of Reservation Agreements and the role of upfront information to establish if changes such as these would make a positive difference to the process” he says.

“All this work is being done in conjunction with the industry, specifically the Home Buying and Selling Group, which encourages representatives from numerous stakeholder groups including property lawyers, estate agents, surveyors, lenders, insurers, and removers who meet and support the government’s initiatives” he adds.

Bold Legal LIVE! has been tailored to make sure that agents, conveyancers and other property professionals understand and, if they wish, challenge these initiatives.

The conference will be held During the day ahead of the prestigious ESTAS Conveyancer Awards in the evening.
