A new estate agency has opened its doors in North London, despite operating in what it describes as a 'weak' London market.

JT Homes has been launched by Josh Tenenblat and will cover Hendon, Golders Green, Finchley and Hampstead Garden Suburb.

The property entrepreneur says he wants his agency to give clients a 'genuine service' instead of just hitting targets.

The company is currently only offering a sales service and has five available properties ranging from £265,000 to 2.45 million on its website.

Tenenblat has previously worked as a branch manager for Winkworth and an assistant manager for Foxtons. He says he has been involved with the North West London property market for the past decade.

"There comes a time when a person with energy and ambition decides to move out of their comfort zone and use their skills and talents to build something for himself, his family and hopefully to also benefit the community," says Tenenblat.

"Having been involved in hundreds of property transactions and been through the buying and selling process in a personal capacity too, I fully understand what an emotional experience home buying can be, with large sums at stake and the unavoidable risk that the deal may fall through."

He says he wants to change the way people view estate agents by providing an 'approachable, reputable and personable' service.
