Rowcliffes, the Derbyshire estate agency, has been sold out of administration with all 22 agency jobs being saved.
A statement from the Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery company says the agency - which covers Buxton, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Glossop, New Mills, Whaley Bridge and Disley - appointed administrators on June 19.
The statement says this was become “the company suffered from a period of high fixed costs, which meant it suffered losses and a build-up of trade liabilities.”
However, the agency has now been sold as part of a pre-pack deal.
“This resulted in the transfer of all 22 employees to the new purchasing entity” says the rescue company.
Rowcliffes has been trading for over 30 years.
