Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward is defying the glut of stories suggesting the London market is beset with difficulties and has launched of a new office in Acton, W3.
This takes KFH's west London coverage to seven branches and becomes part of the company's London-wide network of 60 offices.
KFH has been operating in west London for over 20 years and the new branch joins existing teams in Bayswater, Brook Green, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Ealing and Holland Park.
“We have always covered the Acton area from our Ealing and Chiswick branches so opening a dedicated office for the area was a natural next step for us” explains Lee Watts, managing director at Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward.
Jonathan Clews and Tammy Bailey have been appointed sales and lettings managers of the new branch; they have been with KFH a total of 13 years.
Meanwhile RE/MAX continues to increase the size of its UK network by signing Stowhill Estates, a family-run firm handling sales in South Oxfordshire and West Berkshire.
Owned and operated by husband and wife team, Michael and Lucy Joerin, Stowhill Estates expands the RE/MAX brand’s footprint outside of the greater London region and into previously uncharted territory.
Stowhill Estates was previously part of the Keller Williams network.
“Our decision to join RE/MAX was based on the fact that we want to be disruptors in our market and do things differently from what people expect from estate agents based on their past experiences,” says Michael Joerin.
“We have bought and sold numerous properties over the years but were often underwhelmed by the level of service we received from disinterested, distant and sometimes even counterproductive estate agents. With our combined years of sales, public relations and marketing experience, we knew that we could provide a far better service and do it our own way” he adds.
