More than 100 estate agents are running the first London Estate Agents' 10k for Housing for Women, a charitable housing association that houses and supports women and their families facing challenging circumstances.

Estate agents from Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, Winkworth ,Stirling Ackroyd and more will be competing against each other to support Housing for Women and are encouraging others to sign up for some friendly rivalry.

The run will take place on Sunday 15 June at 10am on Clapham Common and is organised by the events company RunThrough. The day will include a number of prizes for the fastest runners and top fundraisers and is set to raise more than £15,000. The money donated will support Housing for Women's three special initiatives that help women fleeing domestic violence, victims of sex trafficking, and re-uniting women ex-offenders with their children.

Jakki Moxham, chief executive of Housing for Women said: We are delighted that so many estate agents have signed up to take part in the first London Estate Agents' 10k race and urge others to take part. Many of the women we support have been living in fear for their safety. Being housed in a safe and secure environment gives them the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

This event, which coincides with Housing for Women's 80th anniversary will raise vital funds that will allow us to help these women and their families in London.

If you would like to sign-up to the run please contact Paul Melbourne, Fundraising Manager on 0207 501 6152 or by e-mail at paul.melbourne@h4w.co.uk.
