What is ‘Pugh & Co Auctions’ and what does it do?

Pugh & Co is a national auction house that has been running successful property auctions for over 25 years. We work with a wide range of investors, sellers, buyers, local authorities and estate agents to provide the best possible auction experience.

What services do you offer and in what ways do you work with estate agents?

We partner with agents to power their auction service. Working with Pugh’s gives an agent another method of sale they can offer to clients, helping them to win instructions and earn fees.

We give our agents free technology: a white label auction website and a partner portal. This enables them to advertise their auction service proactively and collaborate with us and their clients effectively.

What makes your product different and how does it benefit agents?

Agents choose Pugh’s because of our history of reliability and strong results. We’re a known name that people trust and are proud to work with.

The popularity of auctions nowadays means agents should be offering it to clients whens appropriate. Working with Pugh’s allows them to earn fees whilst doing so. Furthermore we empower our partner agents to offer the best auction service available using white-label website and portal collaboration tools.

We don’t impose a one-size-fits-all approach on our agents. We offer flexibility on fees and process to allow agents to tailor the auction service to suit their agency and clients.

What is the most satisfying part of your job?

I always find it very rewarding the second time a partner agent refers a property to us; it shows we impressed the first time.

That initial conversation is always good, too. Speaking to an agent that is new to auctions and perhaps changing their perceptions, especially when they can see the value of what we can offer to their agency and their clients.
