The Society of Licensed Conveyancers and Bold Legal Group have announced details of this year's spring road shows.

The events in Leeds, Northampton, Croydon and Bristol will include topical presentations including the latest on conveyancing portal Veyo and its much anticipated launch, and how the Land Registry is tackling its registration backlogs which have been such an irritant to conveyancers.

There will be an update on the legal issues now associated with invasive species such as Japanese Knotweed and what these mean for those involved in the buying and selling process. There will also be a feature on the changing landscape in respect of surveys for property purchasers and the role that mortgage lenders will increasingly expect conveyancers to play.

"Inevitably great focus will be given to Veyo which surely will be launched, either before the Leeds Road Show, or sometime between the Leeds event and the last one in Bristol says Rob Hailstone founder of the Bold Legal Group.

The full road show schedule is Leeds on May 5, Northampton on May 13, Croydon on May 19, and Bristol on June 1. All events run from 2.00pm to 6.00pm. To book a place or for more information e-mail info@conveyancers.org.uk or call 08714 237193.

For anyone (conveyancers in particular) interested in Veyo the timing of our roadshows could not be better. With registrations due to go live on the 27th April and a full launch due within a month of that, the time for talking is very nearly over.

Veyo will finally be judged on its offerings and capability, not on hyperbole.
