An online auction house is attempting to establish an agents' hour each Thursday afternoon between 2pm and 3pm.

The idea of creating a specific hour during which members of a business or geographical community' go on to Twitter to exchange ideas and comments is not new. Several business managers in city centres and local authorities have tried the idea, with varying degrees of success, for the past three years.

Now Bamboo Auctions says it wants to create a Twitter chat' for estate agents every Thursday.

It is asking participants to announce their participation at 2pm tomorrow, or any Thursday thereafter, by using the hashtag #EstateAgentHour.

Oh great. Another hour of wannabe football pundets using Twitter to gain Social Media Brownie Points and compete in league tables designed by suppliers to corale them all into one convenient pen to flog them stuff and brain wash them into thinking they will sell more houses if they RT each other incessantly. Yawn... Yeah, we all know that incestious Twitting gains listings right Doesn't everyone use Twitter to chose their estate agent Ha. It's called "Twit"ter for a reason.
