If you thought Estate Agent Today was the only only media outlet in the UK not to have a story with a Fifty Shades Of Grey theme, we're going to disappoint you. Here it is - and with a genuine estate agency tie-in.

For Melinda Fonda, the managing director of Underhill's Real Estate Agents in Devon, is the real-life older sister of actress Emily Fonda, who plays a secretary in the movie and delivers the (apparently) now famous line: Mr Grey will see you now.

All around the world, movie goers have been turning up in record numbers and waiting for that line... and they are all listening to the blond-haired, blue-eyed kid I used to help with her homework Melinda, whose agency sells homes in Exeter and Dawlish, told the Exeter Express & Echo newspaper.

Melinda came to the UK from her native Australian in 1995, and set up Underhills 10 years ago.

[Emily] was so excited because at the casting. It was only when she was offered the role that we learned what the project really was. It's the best-selling book of all time, so there was huge secrecy about it.

It was very strange, but totally thrilling, to be sitting in a cinema in Exeter, watching Emily playing to a packed house. I wanted to shout out, that's my sister'.

I could think of many ways to describe the book - best-selling wouldn't be one of them. It just goes to show that a book doesn't have to be a well-crafted literary masterpiece to sell, it just has to appeal to one mass demographic. Appalling book, appalling film (from what I've heard).

Is nowhere safe from the hype surrounding this poorly written dross

"Its the best-selling book of all time..."

Hmmm... I bet there are several religious groups that would like to argue that point...

I thought we were safe from the Fifty Shades of Grey mania here, Graham. You've let us down!

Quite impressive that you managed to connect estate agency to the film everyone's talking about - even if it is, by all accounts, as badly written as the book. Top research skills.
