One of London's best known agents has been appointed as a non-executive director of the board of Lonres, the property data consultancy covering the centre of the capital.
Peter Wetherell, chief executive of Mayfair agency Wetherell, has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Lonres board.
Wetherell - well known to Twitter followers as @mayfairguru - will also sit on the board of Central London Estate Agents, a stakeholder in Lonres.
He joins the existing Lonres non-execs Lucy Morton of W A Ellis, Michael Hodgson of Douglas & Gordon and Lonres officers William Carrington, Anthony Payne and James Golfar.
Wetherell says Lonres offers real-time granular data, essential for understanding the markets in which [agents] operate.
Established in 2000, Lonres offers subscription-based information for estate agents, valuers, buying agents and surveyors; it tracks prime central London's housing market activities in real time.
There are currently over 800 subscribing offices and 6,000 Lonres users across the capital.
