With Bonfire Night done and dusted it's now the build-up to Christmas - when thoughts of doing good works for others come into their own. Agents, it seem, are doing charitable work all year round as we have learnt on EAT during 2014.

We're always very happy to publicise every agent's efforts and pay tribute to your fine work. If you want to be mentioned, please let us know. Email press@estateagenttoday.co.uk

Here are this week's updates:

Launchpad: Atlantis Property's second Donate A Coat' campaign has resulted in 107 coats being collected on behalf of homeless charity Launchpad Reading. The campaign was run for the duration of October and donations were made by Atlantis staff, clients and suppliers, along with members of the public who became aware of the campaign through local press, word-of-mouth and social media.

Launchpad, the exceptional organisation that provides positive support for homeless people in Reading, will hand out the coats to the homeless in an attempt to Wrap Up Reading' during the Severe Weather Emergency Project. SWEP runs in conjunction with other local agencies and charities when the temperature is forecast to drop to 0c for three nights or more - when street homeless are at increased health risks.

Tina Watkin, managing director of Atlantis Property, told EAT: We've been absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of our customers and people of Reading and would like to thank everyone who helped support us. We hope this collection will make a difference to some of Reading's most vulnerable people at this crucial time of year.

Challengers: Farnham-based children's charity Challengers has benefitted from being the official charity partner of the Romans Group's new branch in the town, since it opened in April. The new partnership promised to be a big help to the charity, with some of the Romans team taking on various sporting challenges, as well as the branch donating £25 for every property valuation from April until the end of June, raising funds towards their target of £5,000

The Romans Farnham team recently visited Challengers to see the Playscheme in full swing. The week they visited it was Monster Week, so the children were enjoying making some monster cakes, and watching Monsters vs Aliens, as well as enjoying all the fantastic facilities that the play centre offers to disabled children aged four to 12.

Jessica Oliver, Head of Fundraising at Challengers says: We are all thrilled that the team at Romans have achieved their target in just six months. The funds will be used to support the Challengers' Farnham Play After School Clubs and we have been able to purchase four much-needed Rabo bikes for the children to enjoy. We can't thank Romans enough, not only for their support, but also for the increased awareness of our work that this partnership has provided in the local community.
