The Great Zoopla British Property Cycle in aid of the Estate Agency Foundation is now in its final week of a 32-day pedal challenge around the UK.

The aim is to raise £100,000 for the EAF, which helps homeless charities.

Peter Knight, managing director of the Property Academy, which is sponsoring the event, will be cycling some of the closing stages which will see the team cycling on four days from Brighton and finishing in Exeter for the final celebrations.

Knight said: “We are so happy to be supporting and taking part in this great charity event in aid of the EAF. The whole industry is getting behind this property cycle and we are proud to be part of it.”

Unfortunately, it must be said at the risk of upsetting a few, that there is not a lot of enthusiasm regarding this on the site today. In my view it could be because there are so many charities (thousands) currently asking for donations maybe the country is generally approaching saturation?

C'mon everyone, its the final few days of this marathon, and I know that donations are falling behind expectations. We have all made money from the housing market, let's make sure those without a home are given our support. I hope that all those agents that have been visited have, or will be making generous donations
