A collection of local property websites based on local newspaper territories is pulling in over 12,000 unique visitors and sending 200 leads to agents each day.

BytePlay’s Gazette Network has more than 1,000 property websites spread across the UK.

Founder and director Artemi Krymski said: “The network seems to have broken into the top ten of UK’s property sites at record speed: from zero to over 50,000 page views per day in just 60 days – and this is before we’ve even spent a penny on marketing.”

BytePlay also runs ononemap.com, the property portal which was the first to depict properties on a map.

    Sorry Alex

Ace is right, I just searched for residential Preston and it is showing me caravans in Margate.

I quite like the principle behind the site though. ie. vendors place their own ads and agents fight over which one gets to hijack it. Cool.

Hang on, let's not get carried away here. They haven't spent a penny on advertising and it is still generating high traffic. That's a fantastic start and of course there will be issues along the way. Out of pure interest I ran a search for "London" on property lander with a return of properties in Dover, Canterbury, Smethwick and Coalville...don't throw stones if you live in glass houses. The reason for this message is that the spam on here is getting quite irritating. Perhaps propertylander.com haven't spent a penny on advertising either as they prefere to spam their way around this site...

Nothing seems to work - when you type a postcode - it says the Google API key was used for different site - meaning it was developed elsewhere and company barely has any hold on fixing it - maybe the developers will take the site back!!! Secondly - no results for LONDON - searching for property in London says "We currently have no listings for this area wont be long though" Now - lets look at www.propertylander.com - yes I love this property portal cause I work there and would be pleased to get some feedback!
