The Tenants Deposit Scheme is advertising for a chief executive.
The post will pay around £90,000 a year plus a bonus.
Strictly speaking, the TDS has not had a chief executive before. However, the position is being created following the departure of Lawrence Greenberg, previous boss of the TDS, whose job title was Independent Case Examiner.
The new chief executive will have much to accomplish, following the uproar earlier this year among agents objecting to very large price hikes, and the departure of the two biggest customers, Countrywide and LSL.
The advertisement, which will appear for the first time in The Sunday Times this weekend, is due to run next week on EAT.
