Spicerhaart has completed the acquisition of Brooks, an independent in North London.
Brooks, which is based in Church Street, Stoke Newington, has been in business for over 25 years, providing sales and lettings services.
Spicerhaart is taking over both divisions with immediate effect prior to the branch being rebranded as ‘Brooks – in association with Felicity J Lord’.
All staff have been retained by Spicerhaart, and Brooks founder Lynn Brooks will remain with the business for the foreseeable future.
Brooks is the second acquisition by Spicerhaart in two months in north London. Recently, it completed the purchase of Islington-based Thomson Currie, which has subsequently been rebranded as Felicity J Lord.
In the last 12 months, Spicerhaart has bought half a dozen companies nationally as part of an ongoing acquisition strategy.

mmmmm shame that they have just employed a new trainee lettings negotiator to find non-existent properties in the area, but are in the process of making the four part time longterm rental administrators redundant..... and the reason?

Well Done Spicerhaart. Expanding the branch network should be seen as a positive move and hopefully once these riots have settled down, business can resume as normal.
Haart looking forward to taking posession of their new agency ... just need to replace the windows and computers and they will ready to go!
LOL The Truth. Yes looking forward to new particulars at Brooks: "Nice period semi, close to all local amenities: shops (sans windows), schools and locals throwing petrol bombs. On bus route, but buses occasionally go up in flames."
Great time to be buying an two bit agency in Stokie. I imagine there will be floods of buyer enquiries (not). Actually at least they ought to be able to land a few new instructions now ...
with 18 properties on their books I doubt even Haart can do worse..........
