'Personal finance' channel offers free new source of revenue

  A free new service is launching which will enable agents to make money from their existing website by adding a ‘personal finance’ channel.

Agents get a free ‘plug and play’ white-labelled link. Visitors can follow the link to search through hundreds of best-buy deals for mortgages, credit cards and loans. Each click-through generates revenue for the agent. Seemples, as they say.

There is absolutely no work for the agent to do once it is set up. If you already have your own mortgage adviser, then the extra leads generated can be passed on to the adviser in the normal way. Alternatively, the new service comes with the option to sell those mortgage leads for an upfront amount.

The service is initially launching in beta mode and the first 50 agents will be set up for free and, hopefully, start generating income right away.

Nat Daniels, Estate Agent Today’s thought leader (that’s what you call publishers these days), would be interested in hearing from agents who like the sound of the idea.

He says: “The thing about it is that an agent who already has people searching for property can now monetise this traffic through offering a ready-made channel of financial products, and it’s really easy to set up.”
