Another new free property portal has launched for private sellers and landlords, telling them to save thousands on agency fees.

Its owners, Radius, are calling the site ‘I want that house’ and say that it has been launched in response to increasing interest in selling property privately.

The company says it reviewed private sale property sites and concluded that many, including Sarah Beeny’s Tepilo, were either hard to use, crowded with ads or offered a limited free service and then charged a premium for a full listing.

Features on the new site include Google mapping and Street View.

There is no advertising and users can list as many properties as required for as long as it takes to sell or let the house.

There is also a facility whereby private landlords with a rental portfolio can place an advert for each of their properties and then turn it on and off as required.

Ian Grieves, managing director of Radius, said he will keep the site free for a year while traffic builds, and may then charge a token £10 or so per listing.
