A new website featuring house builders’ pre-owned part-exchanged properties has been launched in Scotland.

It specifically lists homes which have been purchased by house builders, including Barratt, Persimmon and Taylor Wimpey.

It is estimated that one in four new homes in Scotland are purchased through part-exchange schemes.

It is the first specialist website in Scotland for part-exchange homes, which are by definition sold chain-free and available for early entry, making them potentially popular with investors as well as other buyers.

It seems a good idea. Does a similar one-stop shop for sourcing part-exchange homes exist in England and Wales?
