A former flagship branch of Mann Countrywide has closed in Crawley, Sussex.

But a spokeswoman denied rumours of problems. She said that the decision was made after the lease ended, and because Countrywide operates another strong brand, King & Chasemore, which has an office less than 100 yards away.

No jobs have been lost, with all branch staff relocated to other offices.

Outsider, their not a franchise. Their probably the largest chain of agents in the country. A front basically for selling mortgages. As for them selling because the lease was up. What they mean is they cant sell the rest as lease isnt up. This was a huge modern refurbished office in the heart of a major town.

Another 'franchise' jits the skides, just need to look at the likes of Centruy 21 UK and ReMax who have shed multiple offices in Scotland but it seems to go unpublished.....
