Good luck to Cluttons lettings negotiator Becky Sampson, who is embarking on a four-year horseback adventure, riding from London to Tokyo on her Irish Cob, Bertie.

She will be raising money for the world’s largest orphan and abandoned children’s charity, SOS Children.

Becky, 24, from London, is due to set off on April 1, taking in two continents and 15 countries, not to mention the Taklamakan Desert – which translates as ‘he who goes in does not come out’!

As part of her training for the adventure, Becky has completed first aid and survival courses, learnt how to shoe a horse, navigate and speak the basics in several languages. She has also undertaken a teaching English for foreigners course, enabling her to teach as she travels.

Sponsorship for Becky is at https://www.justgiving.com/expeditionequus
