This year’s RESI  (what an awful word) conference is to take place on September 15 and 16 at the Celtic Manor, Wales.

The chair of the conference programme will be newsreader George Alagiah, whilst James Caan, Tony Pidgley and Nick Candy will also be on the platform, handling a Dragons’ Den-style session.

Property Week editor Giles Barrie will introduce each day.

The conference will look at markets in the property industry, including commercial, public sector and house building. There will be particular focus on the Localism Bill.

Over 830 delegates are said to have attended last year. This year, tickets cost from £480 for a one-day place.

    Nice work, if you can get it, 800 x £450 = £360,000 x 2 days, £720,000. Now that's value for money.
