Review site Allagents has announced the results of its first annual estate and letting agents staff awards.

The top male and female winners, Jay Hayden of London agent Martin & Wright, and Holly Curthoys of CJ Hole, Bristol, will each receive £1,000 prize money from the site.

The awards were free to enter, with the results based on reviews posted on Allagents during the period May 1, 2012, to April 30, 2013.

Follow the links here to see the rankings, which appear to show extraordinary differences between those on the lettings side and those doing sales.

For example, Jay Hayden received five stars and 255 reviews to win top place in the lettings category and also overall – way ahead of the next contender, Mark Durban, senior lettings negotiator at London agent Paramount.

By contrast, the top rated sales member of staff – George Maawer, of CJ Hole – received five stars, and 59 reviews.

It shows by the number of replies to the 'Not another AA award' stroy that agents have lost interest, normally it goes crazy.

Its a shame that any positive post reads as if allagents wrote it themselves, pretending to be agents. Oh well, that's how they allow their site to run so why should we expect any different here. Watch out for their usual positive post just when they think genuine agents have finished making comments.

It is a joke, the data is so old and easily manipulated, we use a competitors website to AA and we get feedback for our agency and for the vendor in one go, getting some valuations as well. They also do random calls to check!!

"The top male and female winners..."

Oh, dear. Gender discrimination at its' best.

Who is this gimmick trying to impress?
