Are you breaking the law on data protection?

One agent seems happy to bet  £1,000 that you are.

He says that, with around two-thirds of estate and letting agents not registered with the Information Commissioners Office, the odds are in his favour.

We’re not sure that Chris Wood – a Territorial Army officer who has recently been in Afghanistan – actually wants to pay any money out, but anyway, take a look at his reminder.

It could save you a bob or two, and if it does, he suggests you might like to show your gratitude by donating to a charity close to his heart.

I must thank Rosalind for my sudden promotion to officer which may come as a surprise to many; me most of all, as I am still being paid as a Rifleman however; please take a look at my blog.

By my reckoning two thirds or so of you reading this would be well advised to read my blog and, even more importantly, the injured men and women of my battalion (which is currently out in Afghanistan living and serving at checkpoints and patrol bases) need your support. So dig deep once you've finished reading please.

Summer is fighting season. We have already lost two good men and more have been injured. Yesterday, a friend of mine reported that the temperature reached 57 degrees. To work and fight in that heat wearing often in excess of 80Lbs of kit and body armour takes its toll on the body, let alone the bombs, bullets and other hazards.
    Thank you
    Chris

(I also need to clarify that my 'tour' of Afghanistan lasted a magnificent 6 days before I was flown home with a non combat related injury)
