Nearly half of agents (49%) do not know how many people visit their websites.

Research by movewithus questioned over 200 agents across the UK.

Of the agents who do know what their site traffic is, most (24%) said there were up to 2,000 visits a month. The next highest figure, 11%, said their websites had more than 20,000 visits a month.

A figure of 7% said visits were between 2,001 and 5,000, whilst 5% had 5,001 to 10,000 monthly visits, and 4% had between 10,001 and 20,000 visits.

Simon King, movewithus online director, said: “Understanding how many customers visit their website, exactly as you would for your high street office, is essential for effective online marketing. Visitors convert to enquiries and enquiries to instructions and sales.”

    This is not surprising.
How many agents know how many visits to their website result in calls?
How many agents know how many calls they get from the portals (not clicks or emails)and can compare them?
How many agents know factually how many calls they miss, or receive from all their marketing channels? Guess what, I do...because I use trackable phone numbers with call recording. I've talked about this before but knowing the numbers of what your marketing does is essential. Get in touch for the free report.
