LSLi, part of LSL Property Services, has taken a major shareholding in the Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire agency Thomas Morris Sales and Lettings - LSLi's ninth independent agency acquisition.

Four of the seven partners in Thomas Morris have left the business while the remaining three have become directors of the new venture and have retained an equity share.

LSLi managing director David Brownsays its nine acquired brands now total 57 offices. His firm specialises in providing what it calls growth, development and exit opportunities for independent property estate and letting agents who wish to see their business continue to grow whilst maintaining its original brand.

Its brands to date include Intercounty, Davis Tate, Goodfellows, Frost's, JNP Partnership, Lauristons, Lawlers, Hawes and Co and now Thomas Morris.

The estate agency training company, TM Training & Development, which was owned by the partners of Thomas Morris does not form part of the LSLi deal and will continue to operate separately.
