From North Somerset to Mauritius - two new branches for Fine & Country

Fine & Country, the international network of prime estate agencies, has this week announced the opening of two new offices.

The first is located in Nailsea, North Somerset, while the other is all the way over on the island of Mauritius, in the heart of the Indian Ocean.

The Somerset operation will be run by Luke Parle and Mark Hunter, a partner at Hunter Leahy Estate Agents, a firm which has been operating in the region since 1999.

Hunter says his team have over 95 years of combined industry experience and are known as one of the go-to agents in the local area.

"Our office has grown to become one of the most successful selling estate agents in the area over the past decade and we pride ourselves on providing our customers with exceptional service," he says.

"Partnering with a brand such as Fine & Country will help us to continue growing and will add to the extensive services we already provide."

Focusing on the premium market, Fine & Country North Somerset will offer bespoke marketing plans to home sellers and a unique property finder service to home buyers.

Meanwhile, Fine & Country Mauritius becomes part of the brand's global network situated in over 300 locations.

Consisting of a unique variety of landscapes, Mauritius is a popular tourist attraction with a population of just 1.2 million that is known for its turquoise lagoons, white sandy beaches and coral reefs.

Fine & Country suggests that the island has one of the fastest growing economies in sub-Saharan Africa and has become increasingly popular with overseas investors in recent years.

The surge in international property buyers comes after the relaxing of the rules governing Mauritian property and residency and the introduction of several property buying schemes.

"We are very excited about the brand’s establishment in Mauritius which has become one of the African continent’s prime luxury property locations," says David Lindley, chief executive of Fine & Country.

"The local market knowledge of the team in Mauritius combined with the brand’s premium marketing services will be a winning combination that will produce amazing results and offer an exceptional estate agency experience."

Bénédicte Duvivier of Fine & Country Mauritius adds: "Fine & Country being a luxury brand will allow us to set the standard of our agency and target a niche sector, which is the luxury market in Mauritius, focusing on exceptional and rare properties."

"Moreover, joining an international brand gives us the opportunity to market the properties available for sale on an international platform. The brand referral system will also give us the opportunity to exchange leads with offices in other countries."
