Sales progression firm Complete My Sale launched an unusual campaign last Friday, which caught the imagination of a number of agents.

The campaign, to raise money for charity Kids Kidney Research, involved Complete My Sale sending T-shirts printed with the message "Trust Me, I'm An Estate Agent", with instructions to take a photo of someone in their team wearing it and post the photo on Twitter.

Complete My Sale has pledged £5 for every T-shirt photo added to Twitter.

The actual photos were started off by Andrea Morgan, one of the bloggers at Rightmove, closely followed by James Neave Estate Agents, Miller Metcalfe, Charles David Casson and Moss Properties.

Orchards of London and Miller Metcalfe were two agents that showed support by submitting photos throughout the day of different members of their team wearing the Trust Me T-shirt.

A number of estate agents also helped by retweeting each other's photos.

Josh McGann, director of Complete My Sale, said: "We could not believe how much support we received on Friday for our Kids Kidney Research campaign.

"This charity is very close to us personally as one of our directors’ sons is affected by the condition and the help Kids Kidney Research have provided has been incredible. We would like to thank every single estate agent for taking part, and those who supported the campaign.”

The campaign’s takings will be counted up at the end of this week.
